CEO Ric Militi Wins Prestigious CEO of the Year Award by San Diego Business Journal

There are many qualities that make a leader that is worthy of recognition. Such leaders are those who influence, empower their team and inspire them to be better. We’re proud to share InnoVision’s very own CEO, Ric Militi has been named CEO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal. Each year, the San Diego Business Journal honors executives who lead their companies, recognizing their contributions to company growth, leadership and community involvement.

A true leader in the industry, Ric Militi has been inspiring his team for many years, long before InnoVision started. Winning the CEO of the Year Award comes in the same month as InnoVision Marketing Group will celebrate its 10-Year anniversary.

It’s through his actions and under his leadership that the company has achieved incredible success, continuously adding to their capabilities each year to offer more, while serving clients across the country in various industries. Ric is brand driven in every aspect, and each day comes with new lessons from him to empower his team to help them reach their highest potential. Something he always shares with the team is how his job as CEO is to make sure each person is successful, and he works hard each day to make this a reality.

He highly encourages transparency and an open-door policy, and always shares happenings and news within the entire company, regardless of position or tenure. Everyone in the company has a voice and is always welcome to share their ideas and input. There are no stupid questions, in fact, questions are encouraged. Each day he shares his knowledge, experiences, and lessons that are then translated into new lessons and experiences.

Each week, Militi hosts a team meeting where the entire company gathers to talk not about clients, projects or business, but to lend his philosophies and expertise on how to become leaders, how to achieve your goals, fundamentals of success, and many more topics that have made a significant impact in the lives of many team members, not just professionally but personally as well.

Rather than a typical management pyramid, Militi introduced a galaxy structure, where management is at the center, however each planet, or group, surrounding it leads to one another with constant communication and collaboration throughout, creating more opportunities and subgroups to pave the way. Each new planet formed is a new structure and a mini version of the company in itself.
